Right of withdrawal for consumers

As a consumer entering into a subscription contract at a distance, you generally have 14 days to withdraw. For a service, the period starts the day after the contract was concluded, provided you have received the required information. If information is missing, the period may be extended by law.

You can give clear notice of withdrawal using the Withdraw from your purchase, by emailing info@votaneo.se or by writing to our postal address. Sending notice within the time limit is sufficient. You do not need a particular form or a reason.

In the withdrawal form, select the contract and confirm you wish to withdraw. We record receipt immediately and provide a downloadable acknowledgement as a text file. Notices sent by email or post are acknowledged when processed. Your withdrawal notice is handled separately from any refund.

If you validly exercise your right of withdrawal, we refund you without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving notice. We use the same payment method unless otherwise agreed and charge no refund fee. Votaneo does not require you to waive the right of withdrawal when you start using the service. Without a separate express request to start during the withdrawal period and the information required by law, we make no deduction for such use.

Business purchases and voluntary guarantee

The statutory consumer right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases made on behalf of a business. Votaneo offers no additional voluntary money-back guarantee. This does not affect rights relating to defects or incorrect charges, for example.

Standard cancellation

Cancelling in the customer portal stops future renewals at the end of the paid period. It does not in itself request a refund or exercise the right of withdrawal. You retain paid access until the period ends. See the subscription terms.

Faults and incorrect charges

Contact us if you discover a fault. Describe what is not working or which charge you think is incorrect. We investigate and get back to you. These terms do not limit statutory rights such as a remedy, a price reduction or termination of the contract.

If we cannot agree, a consumer can contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) if its conditions are met, or apply to a competent court.
