Check understanding as you go

Introduce a concept
Explain the concept on a content slide. Keep it focused so the group knows what the next question is about.
Test understanding with a quiz
Write a question with a clear correct answer. Plausible alternatives help you see what may need a different explanation.
Discuss the results
Show the correct answer and explain the reasoning. Ask an open-ended question to find out what remains unclear.

Finish with reflection

Ask participants to rate their confidence on a scale from 1 to 10 and write what they’d like to understand better. You could also ask: What will you take away from today?

Basic and Pro include a teaching and quiz template with six editable questions. You can also import text from your own PDF or PowerPoint. Review and adapt the content afterwards. The import does not reproduce the full original layout.

Use answers to support learning

Votaneo is for presenter-led sessions and interaction. Nicknames and browser identification don’t reliably link answers to verified identities. The feature does not support identity-verified examinations.

Free includes polls, word clouds, quizzes, open-ended questions and scales, with 75 participations per calendar month per account and eight saved or active results in total. Basic and Pro have no monthly participation quota or saved-results cap. Simultaneous participation is subject to capacity. Compare plans and limits.
